Exhibition: The World in the Palm of your Hand
The World in the Palm of Your Hand – an exhibition of British wood engravings to mark the 270th anniversary of the birth of Thomas Bewick, has been on show at Heilongjiang Museum of Printmaking from 30 March to 30 May 2023.
The exhibition, curated by Dr Weimin He, a trustee of the Muban Educational Trust, has become a ground-breaking exhibition of its kind in China. It has exhibited more than 350 items. In addition to wood engravings, illustrated books, wood engraving tools, blocks are also on display.
